for sale: ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe Silver Sunburst

Used ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe in Silver Sunburst. Based on the serial number this guitar was made in Korea's World Music Instrument factory in June 2011. This guitar plays and sounds great and looks amazing. The silver in the paint has a metallic look to it that makes it really pop. The frets are in great shape and the fretboard is a really dark piece of ebony. Since I've had it, it's been in my smoke free, temperature and humidity controlled studio. You may want to set it up how you prefer your guitars to play, but to me it plays great as it is. I think this guitar came with EMG 81/60 pickups, but this has the EMG 57/66 TW set installed with the ability to get dual and single coil sounds from both pickups. Tone wise and playing wise this guitar works fine. It has been played so there are swirls in the clearcoat, but because of the paint they are difficult to see. There is an dent on the back edge of the lower bout that is less than the size of a Dunlop Tortex pick, which you can see in the photos. It looks like a previous owner tried touching it up with a paint stick, so I can't tell if it went through the paint into the wood or not, but it does not have an effect on playability or tone.
