As inspiration strikes me, I will let ideas shift around, think them through, then sketch them out before making a prototype out of MDF to check size, shape, and form. I'll make adjustments as needed after consulting with people I think would use the particular item, then make another prototype out of solid wood. At that stage I'll give it to whomever I consulted with to check it out for functionality. Further adjustments/tweaks will be made based on the feedback I receive. These last few steps continue in a loop until it's a solidly tested product. Once that goal is achieved, the new product will be listed on my website as something I make.
That's just a little peek into my product development cycle and a little reason why I'm adding this "Coming Soon" page to my site. The items shown and discussed below are in one of the various steps above and if all goes well, will be added to my portfolio and here as something you can purchase from me.
Contact me if you have suggestions on items shown below or if you have something in mind you would like me to bring to reality with you.
MDF prototypes. MDF is not real wood, it's basically sawdust and glue compressed to make a flat panel. It's not something I use to craft anything I sell. That said, it is flat and easy to work which makes it a great material to check the size, shape, and form of something I'm considering adding to my portfolio. Each prototype above is shown below with a short description.
3 different sizes of the same style of cutting board
3 sizes of cutting/charcuterie boards with 5" long handles. The long, thinner one could double as a bread paddle.

Do you have suggestions for the above? Or do you have an idea for something that isn't shown anywhere else on my website? I'm open to suggestions and to working with you to design something that looks great and works perfectly as you need it to. Contact me to share what you have in mind.
